Zane Richard Handysides is a graduate of the University of Windsor and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in the field of Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Laws. He was called to the bar in 2003 and has practised exclusively in the area of family law. He is an experienced trial lawyer having successfully argued cases in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. His practice involves the negotiation of marriage contracts and separation agreements, mediation as well as the prosecution and defence of Applications for custody, access, division of property, child support and spousal support.
His approach to the practice of family law uses a common sense perspective in addressing the issues and educating his clients about the legal process and the law so that they can make informed decisions on each issue. He has extensive experience in navigating complex financial issues and utilizes a team approach by partnering with experts in the accounting and finance industry. He understands that family law litigation can be expensive for anyone involved in the process. He endeavours to provide his clients with the best value for their legal dollars.
Zane is a lifelong Windsor native having attended high school in La Salle and the University of Windsor for both his undergraduate and law degrees.
